When I clicked on the link for Ketadiablo.com I was impressed by how fast the page loaded, and even happier that it included a warning about the sexual content contained in the authors books. That’s not to say that the website is X-rated because it isn’t. I thought it was very tastefully done.
The text and color choices of black, tan and maroon are both classy, and understated, and the graphics are sexy but not explicit. The site has everything a reader wants to view, a blog, a page to sign up for newsletters, a ‘contact me’ page, and a media center where there are links for each of the books. You can also find out how to follow the author on twitter, and facebook.
The best thing is, all this information is right at your fingertips. The text in the navigation bar is large and easy to see, and was easy too decipher. This site includes a forum for members only, which I found quite interesting since it’s something we don’t always see.
All of Ms. Diablo’s books are listed and each has a link for Reviews, Excerpts and also purchase information. And yes, all the links work, there are many of them but they all load!!!
But, there are a few things I would change. First, when you reach the forum page and wish to return to the home page, it returns you to the Warning page. Not a huge problem, but something I would address. The ISBNs for the books were not listed, and this is crucial information for librarians and booksellers. You don’t want them to skip over the books because they can’t find the information they need to order them. Also, there is no Author page or bio, most readers want to know more about the author they are reading, so I would definitely add this feature. Otherwise I enjoyed surfing through this site!

I love the font Keta used on her titles and can’t agree more that it’s a very classy site.
I see that Andrea must have visited the older version of the website. I’ve updated it in the past couple of weeks with everything you suggested and we had to take down the forums since it was taking up a lot of space on the server and no one was using it. I hope when you visit it again today you will love the new improvments and that it’s still easy to navigate like the previous design.
Keta you should be delighted with this excellent review. And as always, there’s something for all of us to take home.

That’s a good-looking website, and the review brought out inportant points to creating a website. I especially like the column that recurs on the left of the pages and lets the reader know of current news.
