Andrea’s Comments:
I really enjoyed watching this video. Instead of photos it started with text which continued throughout the trailer setting up the important parts of the book, and explaining what “Fire Season” is all about. The text alone gave me the information I needed to decide whether or not this book would be something I might read. The photos are nothing short of sexy, and I loved how each picture had a shadowy effect giving you a paranormal feel. I am a huge Evanescence fan and so I loved the music!

But, I have a few suggestions which I believe would make this an even more excellent video.

1. I love the text, the style and the deep red color is perfect but it needs to be darker. More bold. There were times where it was hard to read because of it being laid against a dark background.

2. Since this book is about Dragons, I think there should have been more pictures depicting that. I know time is limited, but maybe a photo of dueling dragons- one black and one green to stay true to the story would be enough.

3. I was a little thrown by the photo of a woman at the end? It didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the trailer.

4. And last, which may seem a bit picky, but I think making all pictures full screen would have a more dramatic effect.

Having said that, this is a very sexy, entertaining video which will definitely prove to be a powerful promotion tool!

Black dragon Holden Antaeus isn’t looking for a mate. His life is filled with family, work, and dating. Women adore him and he’s never short of offers for sex, but a relationship isn’t something he’s interested in. When Holden’s brother Sean hires a new executive for Antaeus International, Holden’s whole world, and everything he’s ever believed about himself, is blown to bits. Garret Renquist is a green dragon, intelligent, witty, bi-sexual, and hot for Holden. Despite the fact that Holden is positive he’s heterosexual, the moment he meets Garret, something happens inside him. What follows is a journey through stereotypes and ingrained beliefs as Holden struggles with the fact that his destined mate is a man.

  1. Thanks so much for a great review, Andrea. I appreciate you taking the time to do it. As an FYI, the photo of the woman appears when my name does because it’s the image used in my logo. The same image appears at the end of all my trailers. :)

Thanks again. I’m so glad you liked it!
